Supernatural Characters: Machines that enable characters to travel through time (not normal humans though) . Genetically modified / enhanced / altered people.
Other: This is a futuristic, steam punk style novel and has a lot of the robotics and experimentation that is fairly common to the genre (think cyborgs). There is a fair amount of violence in this book and some of the descriptions may be distressing for younger readers despite the low ratings in other categories.
